“I’m working tonight so don’t wait up.” Georgie pulls a white leather coat off the rack by the door then turns to Spencer and tickles underneath his chin with his pointer finger. “Well, you can wait up if you want, gum drop.”

“Be careful, G.” I don’t have time to peel him off Spencer right now. We’ve got someplace to be. Namely, in my bed.
